Comment

North Island only selling this week offering 7,500 bales.  The selection consisted of 11% crossbred poorer style fleece, 35-38 micron 100/125mm, 73% crossbred second shear, 36-40 micron, bulk good colour 75mm, 3% lambs fleece, 29-31 micron poor colour, 11% associated oddments and 2% miscellaneous types.  Good competition centered around the Australasian carpet mills and the Indian Sub Continent.  Supported by Europe, the United Kingdom and China.

In a small selection good colour very firm.

Average colour 4% dearer.

Second Shears

Good colour shears 2.5% cheaper.

Average colour 4% dearer.

Oddments

All descriptions generally buyers favour.
