Comment

North Island only selling today on the first sale of the new season offering 5,950 bales.  The selection consisted of 56% crossbred shears generally good colour, 75-150mm, 21% average colour, full length fleece, 8% mainly good/average colour lambs coarser, 2-4 inch, 13% associated oddments, and 2% miscellaneous.  Competition focus from Europe and India with support from the United Kingdom, China and local mills.
