North Island only offering 7,550 bales.

Selection consisted of 25% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 26% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 26% lambs fleece good/average/poor colour, 20% associated oddments average/poor colour and 3% miscellaneous types.

Main competition for good colour was the United Kingdom and Europe with good support from the subcontinent. China supporting the poorer colour fleece and shears.

Average/poor colour crossbred fleece up to 3% cheaper.

Shears

Good colour crossbred shears up to 1.5% cheaper.

Average/poor colour crossbred shears up to 3% easier.

Lambs

Good colour lambs 2% cheaper.

Oddments

Crossbred carding oddments generally up to 4% cheaper.
