South Island only selling, offering 5,950 bales.

Selection consisted of 52% crossbred fleece mostly good colour, 13% crossbred second shear, good colour, 14% crossbred hogget fleece good colour, 6% early season lambs, 4% halfbred fleece good to average colour and 11% associated oddments.

Continued strong competition across all types.  Prices continued to surge today with the highest levels we have seen this decade.  Main buyers were Europe, China and the United Kingdom supported by local Australasian mills.

Fleece

Crossbred fleece all descriptions up to 7.5% dearer.

Crossbred hoggets 12% dearer.

Shears

Crossbred shears good and average colour 7% dearer.

Lambs

New season lambs 6% dearer.

Oddments

Crossbred clothing oddments up to 11% dearer.

Combing oddments up to 13% dearer.

Passings

 NIL Passed In.
