Comment

North Island only selling this week with an offering of 6,300 bales.

Selection consisted of 20% crossbred fleece good to average colour, 34% crossbred second shear, mainly good colour, 22% crossbred lambs, good colour, 21% associated oddments and 3% miscellaneous types.

A generally flat market with only average style fleece wool showing good competition and posting small gains across the board.  Oddments showed a negative sentiment as customers start to pull back from the high prices seen over the last two months.  Main buyers were China, Europe and the United Kingdom with good support from the Australasian market and Subcontinent.
