There was an good selection of Merinos on offer at this week’s sale in Christchurch ranging from 16.0 through to 21.0 micron.  Merino fleece was 2.5 to 5% dearer when compared to the last South Island sale.  The sale was well supported with keen competition across the bench.  Better wools were keenly sought after with some lots extreme.
