Summary

Market mixed but continues upward movement.

Comment

In a good selection of finer wools offered today in Christchurch the market continued to follow in the footsteps of Australia with gains seen in most finer microns of between 2-7%.  The exception to this was the 17.5 to 18.0 micron bracket which saw 1-3% drop.  In the coarser wools 21.5 to 22.5 micron were par to 2% easier while 23.0 micron and coarser saw gains up to 8%.  The market continues to be well supported by a full bench of buyers.
