Summary

Market cheaper.

Comment

North Island only selling today with 8,100 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of 40% good/average colour fleece, 35% crossbred mainly good colour second shear, bulk 75mm, 12% lambs, 10% oddments and 3% miscellaneous types.

Continued subdued competition with China and the Sub Continent main.  Support from Australasian carpet mills and Europe.

Fleece Wools

Crossbred fleece all descriptions 2% cheaper.

Second Shears

Crossbred shears generally 5% cheaper.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments all descriptions 4% cheaper.

Lambs

First lambs 10% cheaper.

Passings

7% Passed In.
