South Island only offering 8,700 bales.  The selection was 50% crossbred fleece, mainly average style 3/5″, 4/6″, 10% crossbred second shears average/good style bulk 3″, 20% lambs mainly good style 2/3″, 10% associated oddments and 10% miscellaneous types.  Keen widespread competition with all sectors operating pushing the market up.
