COMMENT

Fine fleece firm to 5 cents dearer, broader fleece 10-20 cents cheaper, skirtings 10-20 cents dearer, and fine open tops 10-15 cents cheaper.

FLEECES.

The fleece market opened strongly with prices generally firm to 5 cents dearer. As the sale progressed 19.5u and broader wools began to ease 10-20 cents cheaper. Across all microns low vm and high yielding wools remained very strong and continued to attract large premiums.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 17.2%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings finished the day 10-20 cents dearer.

OPEN TOP

18.5u and finer open tops were 15-20 cents cheaper while broader microns were unchanged.
