Market still easier but significantly less dramatic today with limited quantities offered for sale.

COMMENT

7,300 bales were sold today between Sydney and Melbourne. There were fewer bales passed in with those going to sale more likely to accept these levels. However, 25/30% of the original offering was withdrawn prior to sale.

FLEECE

Best 18.0 micron and finer fully firm.

All others 1% easier in general. Some a little more, others less. Prices remain irregular.

 

SKIRTINGS

Better lots 16.0/17.5 micron generally very firm. 18.0 / 19.0 micron up to 2% easier.
