Market dearer again.
- CommentGood widespread activity. Only 1.9% passed in at the Sydney auction, 5.2% in Melbourne. This is a clear indication of the strength of the market.
- Fleece16.0 / 17.5 micron tender and average quality were unchanged.
All other types and descriptions including best wool and everything 18.0 / 22.0 micron were up to 2% dearer.
All non mulesed lots gaining significant market premiums.
- Skirtings16.5 micron and finer fully firm.
17.0 / 18.5 micron 2% dearer.
- Open TopNominally 1% dearer.
