The market was resilient today with best fine wool keenly sought in strong competition from European interests.

FLEECE

Best style/spec 18.5 micron and finer were par to 1% dearer.

Some selected best 17.0/18.0 NM lots were very keenly sought after.

Best 19.0 / 19.5 micron unchanged

Best 20.0 / 21.5 micron 1% easier

All Chinese specification types from 16.5 to 21.5 micron were 0.5 to 1% easier with the lighter fault (VM1.0) lots least affected.

SKIRTINGS

Good skirtings are still attracting strong competition in limited supply. Generally firm.
