COMMENT

Fleece generally 10-15 cents cheaper, skirtings 40-50 cents cheaper and open tops generally 25 cents cheaper.

FLEECE

The fleece market fell again today, although losses were limited to around 5-10 cents. It was the 20.0u and broader which was the most affected, falling by around 10-15 cents, while 19.5u and finer were around 5-10 cents cheaper. There was better competition among the exporters today.

Considering the falls seen this week, the overall passed-in rate for fleece today was quite good at 22.3%

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 40-50 cents cheaper.

OPEN TOP

Open tops were generally 25 cents cheaper.
