COMMENT

Fleece generally 5-15 cents cheaper, skirtings 10 cents dearer and open tops unchanged.

FLEECE

The fleece market opened firm to slightly dearer, with fine wools and low cvh fleece the most affected. As the sale progressed prices eased back and ended 5-10 cents cheaper. 17.5u and finer were the exception and finished 10-15 cents dearer.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 13.6%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 10 cents dearer.

OPEN TOP

Open tops were generally firm.
