COMMENT

Fleece 5-10 cents cheaper, skirtings and open tops unchanged.

FLEECES.

The fleece market opened softer today, with 18.0u and finer the most affected falling by 20-30 cents. However as the sale progressed there was strong demand for better style fleece which saw prices edging higher than yesterday’s levels. Overall the market closed on a strong note.

The passed-in rate for fleece was 23.1%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings finished the day unchanged.

OPEN TOP

Open tops were generally unchanged.
