COMMENT

Fleece 5-15 cents dearer, skirtings 20-30 cents dearer, open tops 30-40 cents dearer.

FLEECES.

The fleece market saw good demand today, especially for best style lots, which helped the market rise around 10 cents today. Some good spec 17.5u lots were 50-60 cents dearer, reversing yesterday’s heavy falls. 

Despite the strong market, the passed-in rate for fleece was again high at 34.2%.

SKIRTINGS

19.0u and finer skirtings were 20-30 cents dearer.

OPEN TOP

Open tops regained most the ground lost yesterday, rising 30-40 cents.
