COMMENT

Fleece 5-10 cents cheaper, skirtings 10 cents dearer, open tops unchanged.

FLEECES.

The fleece market opened on a firm basis today. During the sale prices eased back 5-10 cents with demand for poor spec lots dropping. Good spec fleece remained solid through to the close. 

The passed-in rate for fleece was at 6.3%.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were 10 cents dearer.

OPEN TOPS

Fine open tops remained firm, while a bigger selection of 19.5u and broader saw prices ease 25 cents lower.
