COMMENT

Fleece 15-50 cents dearer, skirtings 30 cents dearer, open tops 25-40 cents dearer.

FLEECES.

The fleece market opened around 20 cents dearer today, with 18.0u and finer the most affected and rising as much as 50 cents. Towards the end of the sale prices eased back slightly to finish around 10-15 cents dearer.  

The passed-in rate for fleece was at 4.4%

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were generally 30 cents dearer.

OPEN TOPS

Open tops were around 25-40 cents dearer.
