Western Australia market continues its downward trend
- CommentAll wool types were cheaper today with high passed-in rates.
- Fleece19.0u and finer fleece was around 50-60 cents cheaper today while 19.5u and broader were around 30 cents cheaper. The market drifted throughout the day and only the high passed-in rate put a floor in the market. Major buyers today were Tianyu, Seatech and PJ Morris.
The passed-in rate for fleece was very high today at 42.1%
- SkirtingsSkirtings prices were generally 20 cents cheaper today.
- Open TopOpen tops fell heavily today by up to 100 cents, with almost zero interest from buyers even on a limited offering.
