Fleece market firmed today while other wool types continued to drift lower.

The fleece market opened on a firm note and remained strong throughout the sale to finish 10-15 cents dearer across all microns. There was a more even spread of buyers today with Scanlon Wool, Tianyu and Lempriere the main buyers.
There was a high rate of fleece withdrawn prior to sale and a high passed-in rate of 32.9%. - SkirtingsSkirtings prices fell a further 30 cents today.
- Open TopOpen tops were irregular, but generally 20-30 cents cheaper.
