COMMENT

Fleece wool came under better demand and made gains of 10/20 cents. There was also a better selection of Spring wool held over for the taxation sale.
22% was withdrawn prior to sale however the passed in rate fell to just 7% compared to 40% last week

FLEECE

18.5 + 10 cents, 19.5 – 21.0 +15 cents and 21.5 and coarser + 20 cents.

SKIRTINGS

Skirtings were 20/30 cents dearer for the better style Spring types however faulty types were 50 cents cheaper

OPEN TOP

Open tops were firm to 20 cents dearer.
