Market generally firm tending easier.
- CommentNorth Island only selling today offering 7,700 bales. The selection consisted of mainly hogget fleece 34.0 to 36.0 micron, good colour second shear 75/100 mm & shorter. There was a reasonable offering of crossbred fleece wool, 36.0 micron & coarser. China and Europe main competition with support from Australasian carpet mills.

34.0 to 38.0 micron fleece buyers favour.
Poorer style fleece up to 5% cheaper.

Poorer style second shear up to 5% cheaper.
