Summary

Market continues to ease

Comment

North Island only selling today with 9,000 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of 70% second shear, good style, 36.0 to 39.0 micron bulk 50/100mm. Also on offer were 25 percent associated oddments and 5 percent miscellaneous types.  Limited competition with Australasian carpet mills main and support from Europe and India.

Fleece

No fleece on offer this week.

Second Shears

50/100mm and shorter 5% cheaper.

75/100mm and longer 3% cheaper.

Lambs

In a limited selection 4% dearer.

Oddments

All descriptions buyers favour.

Passings

18% Passed In.
