Comment

South Island only offering 5,000 bales this week.  The selection consisted of 47% ewe fleece, 34.0 to 38.0 micron, 15% second shear, 35.0 to 39.0 micron, 16% lambs fleece, 28.0 to 30.0 micron, 16% oddments and 6% miscellaneous types.  Widespread competition continues with most sectors operating.  United Kingdom and Europe main with support from South East Asia.

Generally 5% dearer.
