Comment

North Island only offering 6,900 bales.  The selection consisted of 15% crossbred fleece, good/average style, 36.0 to 39.0 micron, 20% crossbred hogget fleece 30.0 to 35.0 micron good style, 35% crossbred/hogget second shear, bulk 75mm good style, 20% associated oddments, 8% old/reoffered lambs average/poor style and 2% miscellaneous types.  Good competition with Indian subcontinent main and support from local carpet mills, China, Europe and United Kingdom.
