Comment

North Island only selling today with 7,200 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of 35% crossbred second shear/early shorn mainly average colour 75/100 mm, 40% crossbred/hogget fleece average colour 75/100mm, 12% good colour lambs 28.0 to 30.0 micron, 10% associated oddments and 3% miscellaneous types.  Indian subcontinent main with support from China and local carpet mills.

Good style crossbred and hogget fleece 3.5% dearer.

Poorer style crossbred fleece firm.

Second Shears

Crossbred second shear firm.
