Comment

North Island only selling today with an offering of 5,300 bales.  The selection consisted of 5% crossbred fleece mainly poor colour, 75/150mm, 50% good to average crossbred second shears, 22% lambs mainly good colour 2-3 inch, mainly average colour, 20% associated oddments and 3% miscellaneous.  Good competition with most sectors operating.  China, India and local mills main, supported by the United Kingdom and Europe.

Good colour fleece in a limited selection keenly sought after, 6% dearer.

Remaining average colour fleece very firm.

Shears

Good colour shears keenly sought after, 6% dearer.

Remaining average colour shears very firm.

Lambs

All descriptions firm.

Oddments

Clothing oddments 4% dearer.
