North Island only offering 5,790 bales today.  Selection consisted of 10% crossbred fleece average/good colour, 75/150mm, 12% hogget fleece, good colour, 63% crossbred second shear and hogget shears mainly good colour, 12% crossbred oddments, good to poor style & 3% miscellaneous types.

Main competition Europe and India, supported by the United Kingdom and Australasian carpet mills.

Average colour crossbred fleece 4% dearer.

Shears

All descriptions 4.5% dearer.

Oddments

Good colour up to 11% dearer.

Average colour 15% dearer.
