Market dearer.

Comment

North Island only offering 7,475 bales.

Selection consisted of 13% crossbred fleece mainly average/poor colour, 75/150mm, 62% crossbred second shears good/average colour, 50/100mm, 8% lambs mainly average colour, 14% associated oddments average/poor colour and 3% miscellaneous types.

Good competition with most sectors operating.  Only real pressure today was on the oddments in a small offering.  United Kingdom, India and Europe again the main buyers with continued support from China and local mills.

All descriptions up to 1% dearer.

Lambs

All descriptions very firm.

Oddments

All descriptions up to 4% dearer.
