Market generally firm.

Comment

North Island offering 7,950 bales and South Island offering 8,175 bales.  The selection consisted of 50% good/average colour crossbred and hogget fleece, 20% lambs good colour new season clip, 15% crossbred shears, good colour bulk 75mm and 15% oddments.  Some more spirited competition from the local and Australasian mills today resulted in pressure on China and the Subcontinent to take a more supportive role.
