Summary

Market mixed.

Comment

South Island only offering 9,200 bales.  The selection consisted of 60% crossbred fleece, good/average style 3/5″, 4/6″,  20% lambs mainly good style, 15% oddments all descriptions and 5% miscellaneous types.  Still very keen widespread competition across most sectors with buyers.  The main competition was China & Europe with good support from the Sub-Continent, local and Australasian mills.

All styles firm to sellers favour.

Crossbred hoggets firm to buyers favour.

Lambs

Up to 5% cheaper.

Oddments

All descriptions up to 3% dearer.

Passings

22% Passed In.
