Market subdued.

Comment

North Island only offering 9,500 bales.  The selection consisted of 30% crossbred fleece, average style 3/5″, 4/6″,  30% lambs mainly good to average style, 25% early shorn/second shear bulk average style and 15% oddments average/inferior style.  More subdued bidding with poorer styles discounted.  Europe & Sub-Continent main with support from Australasian mills & China.

Average style fleece buyers favour.

Second Shears

Early shorn and second shears 4% cheaper.

Lambs

In a mixed selection up to 4% cheaper.

Oddments

All descriptions buyers favour.
