Market eases.

Comment

North Island offering 4,800 bales and South Island offering 6,000 bales.  The selection consisted of 35% crossbred ewe and hogget second shear 32-38 micron good colour bulk 75mm, 40% crossbred ewe and hogget fleece, 34-38 micron good/average colour bulk 75/125mm and longer, 8% new season lambs, 15% associated oddments and 2% miscellaneous types.  Reasonable competition with most sectors operating.  South East Asia main with support from the United Kingdom, local carpet mills and Europe.

Fleece

Crossbreed ewe/hogget fleece firm.

Second Shears

Crossbred ewe/hogget second shear 2.5% cheaper.

Lambs

All descriptions 2% cheaper.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments all descriptions buyers favour.

Passings

13% passed in.
