Market eases.

Comment

South Island only offering 10,700 bales this week.  The selection consisted of 45% crossbred ewe fleece, bulk 75/150mm average colour, 12% crossbred second shear bulk 75mm average/good colour, 23% crossbred lambs fleece 50/75mm good colour, 15% associated oddments and 5% miscellaneous types.  There was limited competition on a poorer style offering.  Indian sub-continent main with support from China, local carpet mills, United Kingdom and Europe.

In a limited selection good colour fleece buyers favour.

Poorer style 5% cheaper.

Second Shears

Good colour buyers favour.

Poorer style 5% cheaper.

Lambs

Good style lambs 5% cheaper.

Oddments

Clothing length 15% cheaper.

Combing oddments 5% cheaper.
