Comment

South Island only selling today with 9,000 bales on offer.  The selection consisted of 45% crossbred fleece mainly average style, 3/5″ to 4/6″, 20% good style lambs fleece, 10% early shorn/second shear, bulk 3″ good style, 17% associated oddments 3% merino types and 5% miscellaneous types.

A more positive sentiment today.  China and Indian Sub Continent main, with support from Australasian carpet mills, Europe and the United Kingdom.

All styles 3% dearer.

Second Shears

All descriptions firm.

Lambs

Lambs generally 3% dearer.

Oddments

Crossbred oddments all descriptions firm.
