COMMENT

With 4,000+ bales Ex. Tasmania today the market was tested. Over supply of Best style Euro spec 15/17.5 micron reacted negatively, whilst broad merinos benefited despite the freight equalization between Melbourne and Tasmania. Chinese greasy trading companies chased the volume, while some Chinese indents stayed out of the market due to Lunar New Year celebrations.

FLEECE

Best style 15/17.5 micron Euro spec wool up to 1.0% easier.

Best 18/19.5 micron were 1% dearer. 

All Chinese spec finished the day 1% dearer.

SKIRTINGS

All description 175/21 micron were par to 1% easier.
