North Island only selling today offering 6,310 bales.  The selection consisted of 13% crossbred fleece generally good colour, 75-150mm, 61% good colour shears, 7% mainly good colour lambs, 17% associated oddments and 2% miscellaneous types.  Strong competition with most sectors operating.  Main competition Europe and India supported by the United Kingdom and local mills and limited support from China.

Average colour up to 3% dearer.

Shears

Good colour 2% dearer.

Average colour up to 4% dearer.

Lambs

All descriptions 5% dearer.

Oddments

All descriptions up to 3% dearer.
